Schmidt's restaurant on Folsom (@20th) is a great place for German food. They have several German beers on tap, soft pretzel rolls with sweet mustard and the best damn sausages I have found in the city! The spätzle is also very tasty. Everything on the menu is affordable and the service was great. Stay away from the house red wine though...it doesn't taste good and will give you the worst headache of your life the next day....
