About me

My name is Emily (Em) Mirro. I have lived in San Francisco for the past 16 years and am currently living with my husband Phil in the Potrero Hill neighborhood. I have been in love with cooking and eating from a very young age. My favorite thing to do is cook an obscenely gigantic dinner for my family/friends and then spend hours eating and drinking together until everyone is stuffed blind (and very drunk). I am like a big old Italian grandmother crammed into the body of a thirty...seven year old.

I started this blog as a way to share my SF restaurant recommendations, recipes and kitchen adventures because I love to talk about food, alot.
