Flour

Flour is a bakery in Boston created by chef Joanne Chang. The book is peppered with interesting blurbs about Chang's personal experience as a chef and many helpful tips on all of her recipes. And the photos of her freshly baked sweets are gorgeous!  Some favorites of mine in the book are the brioche (made a variety of ways), ginger molasses cookies, lemon lust bars and the classic coffee cake. Some morning when I am feeling brave enough I will attempt the eclairs or the croissants.  She also has a milky way tart recipe in this book which looks out of this world!
